Mrs Ruth Hatch Hale, 86, wife of A. Lucius Hale, died December 29, in Salt Lake City. Mrs Hale did genealogical and Temple work. She spent several summers in Afton with her husband before his death several years ago, and quite a few valley people were acquainted with her.
Funeral services were held in the Deseret Mortuary in Salt Lake, on Wednesday and the body was brought to Afton Thursday for burial in the Afton cemetery.
George A. Hale and Mrs Alice Hale went to Salt Lake for the funeral, and came back with the hearse to Afton.
