Mrs. Brown was born in Annabella twenty one years ago and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Christensen.
She was married little less than a year ago to Arnold Brown and they went to Grass valley to make their home. Maggie, as she was familiarly called by her friends was beloved for her kind and pleasant disposition. She was active in Sunday school work and in any other capacity of church work where her services were demanded.
Funeral services were held here Tuesday afternoon and a large concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends turned out to pay their last respects to their departed sister. The new church was crowded and the procession that followed the remains to the cemetery was one of the largest ever seen in this place.
