Mr. Rex Lance Stanley, 84, of 212 East Ave., Panama City, died Wednesday, May 13, 1992, at his home. He had been a resident of Bay County for the past 80 years coming here from Geneva County, Ala. He was a retired auto mechanic for the county of Bay County, previously employed with Ford Motor Company, a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy, and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. He used the CB radio name of Wrench Puller. Mr. Stanley is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eunice H. Stanley of Panama City; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia England of Stone Mountain, Ga., and Miss Linda Carol Stanley of Panama City; two sisters, Mrs. Walter Neal of Panama City and Mrs. John Gunter of Tampa; one brother, Mr. Barney Stanley of Panama City; and three grand children, Liz, Ed and Paul England. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today, May 15, at the Kent-Forest Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Adolph Bedsole and the Rev. James Kent officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Asked to serve as active pallbearers are Mr. Torn Stanley, Mr. Hillman Brannon, Mr Nigel Ham, Mr. Martin Stanley, Mr. A.D. Beck and Mr. Terrell Brannon. Honorary pallbearers are Mr. Henry Kirkland and the Sunday School Class of Immanuel Baptist Church.
