ACKERMAN - Mrs. Emma Scoggins Ray, 86, died Monday at Choctaw County Hospital in Ackerman. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Weir Baptist Church, where she was a member, with burial in Weir Cemetery. Adams-Nowell Funeral Services has charge. Mrs. Ray leaves a daughter, Mrs. Ora Mae Balentine of Weir; two sons, Dr. Ovin C. Ray of Jackson and Dr. Olon E. Ray of Brandon; three brothers, B. D. 'Slim' Scoggins of Clinton, Grady Scoggins of French Camp and E. L. 'Mutt' Scoggins of Jackson, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
