LAYTON-Dauna Prescott Byington, 77, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2002, at Davis North Hospital.
Dauna was born October 24, 1924 in Georgetown, Idaho a daughter of Leslie John Prescott and Ellen Tippets.
She married Thayle L. Byington on January 24, 1943 in Pocatello, Idaho. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse for 22 years and enjoyed arts and crafts.
She is survived by her husband, one son and two daughters, Thayle A. Byington, Bailyton, TN, Nona Dowdle, Roy, UT, and Wanda Nistler, Layton, UT. She is survived by 14 grand children and 14 great grandchildren. She is also survived by three brothers and one sister, Reuben Prescott, David Prescott, Stanford Prescott and Connie Domino. Dauna was preceded in death by her mother and father, 8 brothers and sisters, and two children lost in infancy, Rebecca Ruth and Danny Roy.
