Mrs. Guidry was a native of Church Point and a resident of Lafayette. She was a parishioner of St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Lafayette.
Survivors include (in 2006) four children and their spouses, one son-in-law, one sister, 18 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David "Dog" Guidry Sr.; her parents, Clovis Latiolais and the former Marie Perrodin; one daughter, Daisy "Deanie" Broussard; four brothers, Clovis Latiolais Jr., Arthur Latiolais, Alfred Latiolais, and Frank Latiolais; and three sisters, Clovis Venable, Belva Johnson, and Lawrence Venable.
She received a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Carencro. Melancon Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
