Final Rites Held For Mr.Hobby
Jexie Ray Hobby, 61, died Friday, August 16 in the Mobile Infirmary Hospital.

A native of George County, Mr. Hobby was retired from the National Guard.

Funeral services were held Monday, August 19, from George County Funeral Home with Rev. Sammy Chisolm officiating the 2 p.m. services. Interment was in Magnolia Cemetery with George County Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Hull Hobby, Lucedale; one daughter, Diana Hobby Knight and husband B.J. Knight, Lucedale; two sons Edward DeWaine Hobby, Lucedale; Michael Ray Hobby and wife LuWana Hobby, Lucedale; one brother, Bruce Hobby, Warner Robbins, GA; two sisters Hazel Williams, Lucedale; Annette Hobby, Mobile; Mother-in-law Hazel Hull; one uncle, Mr. Ben Taylor, Lucedale; two grandchildren, Ben and Philip Proctor, Lucedalee.
