Funeral services for Haral L. 'Ronnie' Burton, 50, of Lake Providence, were held at 10 a.m. Monday at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel in Rayville with Brother Alan Eppinette and Brother Frank Burton officiating.
Burial followed in Hewitt Cemetery near Mangham under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home in Rayville.
He was born Jan. [sic June] 26, 1955, in Oak Grove and passed away Jan. 13, 2006, in Lake Providence.
He was preceded in death by his son Haral Laron Burton Jr.; brother Richard S. Burton; and sister Dorris Marye Burton Stem.
He was survived by his daughters Angelica Michelle Burton and Ashley Marie Burton of Panama City Beach, Fla.; grandson Zachary Ali Collins of Panama City Beach; stepdaughters Michelle Lynn Rousseaux and Dawn Marie Rousseaux of Houma; sisters Virginia 'Betty' Bass of Hebert, Elaine Gilbert of Duncanville, Texas, Bess M. Burton of Port Royal, S.C., Vondee Burton of Dubach, Lavon Kelly of Columbia, Lenora Burton of Lockport; brothers Thomas M. Burton of Haslett, Mich., Roger N. Burton of Salem, Ala.; Frank Burton of Monroe, Reggie Burton of Duncanville, Texas; special niece and nephew Darlene and Alan Kimball; and a host of nieces and nephews.
