Lulu Snyder
Lulu Rogers Snyder, 81, died Saturday, Dec. 11, 1982, in the North Big Horn Hospital in Lovell where she had been a patient for the past five weeks.
She was born Nov. 7, 1901, in Bingham Canyon, Utah, the daughter of William J. and Emily Jane Rogers. She married Don Snyder Jan. 28, 1920, in Salt Lake City.
They have made their home in Byron for the past 50 years. Mrs. Snyder enjoyed working in her yard and in the cafe owned by the family for many years.
Survivors include her husband of Byron; one son, Don Roger Snyder of Byron; two daughters, Dorothy Brown of Lovell and Phyllis Bassett of Byron; one sister, Bernice Ellertson of Salt Lake City; one brother, Richard Rogers of Torrance, Cal.; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Private family services were held Dec. 14 at 2 p.m. in the Haskell Funeral Home. Burial was in the Byron Cemetery.
