Services for Mr. G. C. Hill, Jr will be 2:00PM Sunday, February 18, 2007 at Archibald First Baptist Church With Rev. Jimmy Goodman officiating. Internment to follow in Little Creek Cemetery near Alto, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville, LA.

Mr. Hill was a member of Archibald First Baptist Church, the Louisiana Cattleman's Association and an active member of Farm Bureau. A United States World War II Army veteran, he served in the 773 rd tank destroyer battalion under General Patton in the European Theatre. Mr Hill was a life long resident of Richland Parish. After WW II he and his wife Grace settled in the Delhco community on what is now Hill Road; and built a large cotton and cattle farming operation.

Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his parents Grover C. Hill, Sr. and Mamie McDonald Hill, his wife Grace Gibson Hill, sisters Lona Hill McDonald, Annie Bell Grigsby, and a brother James Hill.

He is survived by a daughter Patricia Hill Adams and her husband Donnie of Jena, LA, four sons, Buddy Hill and his wife Kaye of Rayville, LA, Kenny Hill of Mangham, LA, Ronnie Hill and his wife Sue of Rayville, LA and Johnny Hill and his wife Terri of Mangham, LA; four sisters Bernice Boydston of Nachitioches, LA,Mozelle Bengtson of Salina, KS, Maxine Wiggins and Geraldine Hill both of Rayville, LA; five brothers Eugene "Gena" Hill of Archibald, LA, Billy Hill Mangham, LA, Tom Hill and Grant Hill both of Rayville, LA and Dock Hill of Mangham, LA; 11 Grandchildren and 11 Great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jason Adams, Barry Hill, Luke Hill, Drew Hill, Eric Hill and Roy Wiggins.

Honorary Pallbearers are D. B. McKay, George Bolton and Ambrose White.

In Lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society, Monroe Baptist Children's Home or the charity of Choice.
