Cole Frank W, 66, was born Sept. 10, 1868 in Jefferson Twp, the son of James R. and Martha Cole, and died at his home here Friday after a four day's illness from pneumonia and heart complications. He spent his entire life in this community and during the past 25 years had owned and operated the Cole's Variety Store. When about seven years old, his eyes became afflicted and a year later he became totally blind. He attended the school for the blind at Indianapolis where he learned the Braille system and received his education. Despite the fact he was blind he was able to go anywhere here unaided and at will, carrying on his daily routine. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Surviving are the widow, Louise, one son, Ralph of Brainerd, Minn.; one grandson, Christopher Weldon; five sisters, Mrs. Frank Munk, Kendallville, Mrs. Martha Schlabach, Ligonier, Mrs. George Wadsworth, Pittsburgh, Pa., Mrs. Nellie Wiley, Fort Wayne, and Miss Belle, Englewood, Colo.; four brothers, Elmer, Albion, Prentice, Hamilton, Mo., William, Wolf Lake, and Floyd, Wolcottville. Funeral at the Presbyterian Church Monday. Burial, Albion Cemetery. + 5-?-1935
