Age 95, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 1997 at Bortz Health Care of Ypsilanti. She was born on April 28, 1902 in Virginia, MN, the daughter of John And Mabel Pue. On August 12,1919 she married Roy S. Novotny in MN and he preceded her in death in 1964. Mrs. Novotny was a member of the Moose in MN for many years and was a member of St Paul's Episcopal Church in Virginia, MN.
Survivors include her two daughters, Doris Johnson of PA and Joyce Cloke Of Ypsilanti, MI; 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. in addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Margrette Talus, three sisters; Lillian Cantin; Marguerite Ritacco; Laura FitzGerald; one brother John Arthur. The funeral service will be 3:30 p.m. Friday, November 21, 1997 at Stark Funeral Services Moore Memorial Chapel with Fr. Jasper Pennington of St Luke's Episcopal Church officiating. Burial will follow in St John's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 5-9 p.m. tonight.
