Mrs. Armstrong died Feb. 22, 1988 at the Desert Valley Care Center. She was born July 14,1919 in Briggsville, Arkansas. She married Acie Armstrong on Feb. 2, 1936. The couple moved to the Casa Grande area 36 years ago.
Mrs. Armstrong worked 14 years in the Central and Evergreen schools' cafeterias. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church and taught Sunday school and vacation Bible school for 35 years.
Survivors include: her husband, Acie; three sons: Charles and Jerry, of Casa Grande, and Bobby, of Phoenix; one daughter, Shirley Cook, of Tombstone; one brother, J.W. Mobley, of Benton, AR; two sisters, Undean Reed, of Dumas, AR, and Sarah Venable, of Phoenix; and five grandchildren.
The Rev. Raymond Wilson will officiate at Wednesday's funeral services. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
