Age 81, of Newark, DE passed away on November 26, 2008 at Christiana Hospital. She was the wife of the late Sewell J. Welch.
Born December 9, 1926 in Exmore, VA she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Gertrude Rue. She retired as an accountant for DuPont Company.
Mrs. Welch is survived by her son, Richard D. Welch; daughter, Margaret Ann Conant and her husband James M. Sr.; granddaughter, Megan Welch; step grandchildren, Nicole M. Conant, James M. Conant, Jr. and his wife Miriam; 4 great grandchildren; siblings, John W. Rue, Vaughn T. Rue, Bettie Rue Gragnani and sister in law Betty J. Welch. Annabelle is predeceased by Clarence A. Rue, Jr., Evelyn R. Shackleford and Robert M. Welch.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside service at Riverview Gardens, 33rd and Market Streets, Wilmington at 12 pm on Wednesday, December 3, 2008.
