I believe, but never confirmed, that Thomas was born in Ireland about 1831/1832. He married Rachel (maiden name not known) Gwynn in Philadelphia about 1850. They had nine children, the oldest of which was David Gwynn who married Louisa (Bisbort) Gwynn in Philadelphia.
Thomas and Raechel had a lot of stability in their lives. Thomas was a shoemaker for most of his working life, and they lived on Front Street in the Kensington/Richmond section of Philadelphia for much, if not all, of that time.
And many of their children seemed to have dependable blue-colar trades.
Thomas died of pneumonia at home on Front Street.
