Parlie was the daughter of Robert B. Catlett of Georgis, and Mary F. Yandell of Arkansas. On 8/10/1904 Mary would remarry a Lucas Prescott (1842-1910).

The 1910 US Census shows Parlie as living with her mother and a brother in Scott County, Arkansas as follows:
self Mary F. Prescott F 44y Arkansas
son James J. Catlett M 20y Arkansas
dau Perlea S. Catlett F 15y Arkansas

On 5/9/1913, Parlie married James Lewis Wilson in Scott County, Arkansas. Court records show she was 16 and Jim was 23 years of age. However, that does not appear correct since she was born in 1895. If her birth year is correct, as census records and her gravestone shows, she would have been 18.

The 1930 US Census shows the family as then living in Lamb, Scott County, Arkansas with the following family members living in the home:
head James L. Wilson M 38 Arkansas
wife Parlee Wilson F 34 Arkansas
dau Elouise Wilson F 16 Arkansas
son Delbert Wilson M 14 Arkansas
dau Anna Wilson F 12 Arkansas
dau Verla Wilson F 9 Arkansas
son Lucian Wilson M 2 Arkansas
son James Wilson M 1 Arkansas
servant Philip Crenshaw M 21 Arkansas

The 1940 US Census shows the family as living in rural Sugar Creek Township, Logan County, Arkansas. The following family members are shown as living in the home (spelling is as recorded):
head Jim L. Wilson M 49 Arkansas
wife Pirlee Wilson F 44 Arkansas
son Luching Wilson M 12 Arkansas
son James Wilson M 10 Arkansas
dau Lorebell Wilson F 7 Arkansas
son Danal Lee Wilson M 5 Arkansas
dau Virda Crenshaw F 19 Arkansas
grandson Floyd Dale Crenshaw M 0 Arkansas

It should be noted that the Crenshaw family had a residence a few houses away from the Wilson's. It is assumed this is the same family as the father of the grandson, Floyd Crenshaw.
