David Richard Winn passed away on November 25, 2008 in Bountiful, Utah.


He was born January 18, 1920 in Randlett, Utah to James A. and Adonna Mecham Winn. He married Marian Mortensen on January 2, 1947 in Elko, Nevada. David served in the US Marine Corps during World War II. He retired from the Boiler Makers Union Local 182 after many years.


He is survived by his wife; children, Raymond Anderson, Thomas Anderson, Jack (Mary) Winn, Craig (Bonnie) Winn, Steven (Christine) Winn, Randy (Pamela) Winn, Tamra Winn, and Danette (Mike) Moon; 18 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Turner and Venice Babcock; and many loving nieces, nephews and special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and three brothers.


Graveside Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at the Utah Veteran's Memorial Park, 17111 South Camp Williams Road. Friends and Family may call on Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South.
