Laketon-FRANK A PRICE, 66, Ill seven years and seriously ill one month, died at 9:15 pm Wednesday in the Veterans Research Hospital, Chicago. Death was due to carcinoma and complications.
The decedent was born March 8, 1891, in Laketon to John and Louisa (Mote) Price. He was married in North Manchester, Aug 16, 1919 to Julia Ann Boulton.
Mr. Price was a retired employe of the General Tire and Rubber Company and the Frederick Vault Company, Laketon. He was a veteran of WW 1 and a member of Sunset Post 402, American Legion, Laketon.
Surviving are the widow, five sons, Maurice "Jack" D., Cleveland, Ohio, John R., Houston, Tex,; Ralph D., Wabash: Gerald O., Laketon, and Roger Ivan, Wabash; Three brothers, Alva Ray, Marion; James Esta Sr., Laketon; and Charles G., Wabash; Two sisters, Mrs. May Warner, and Mrs. Etta Martin, both of Laketon; and 13 grandchildren. One son, Harold, died at birth, preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm Saturday in the Wesleyan Methodist Church, Laketon, with the Rev. Lloyd Loucks officiating. Burial will be in the Laketon Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wire Funeral Home after 10am Friday. The body will be taken to the church at 12 noon Saturday where it may be viewed until the funeral hour.
