Louise Kinney Middleswarth moved from Snyder County Pa to Iowa with husband Archibald and first child and sisters and brothers of her husband Archibald's family --including Archibald's brother Ner R Middleswarth and 2nd wife Harriet and children, Archibald's sister Catherine Middleswarth Fry and her husband Thomas Fry and children and Archibald's sister Mary Ann Middleswarth and her husband Nicholas Nichols. They all moved to Iowa with Archie and Louise.

Louise Kinney and Archie Middleswarth had 5 daughters-
Mary Ellen, twins Lida Jane and Florence Louise, and twins Ida and Ada.

In Pennsylvania they had spelled their last name Middleswarth, but when they went to Iowa, they spelled the name Middlesworth. Many family members changed the spelling when they moved to the Midwest.
