THE PARIS NEWS, 10 Sep 1990. 'Aileen Lois Wisely, 79, 3055 Clarksville St., died Saturday, 8 Sep 1990, at Paris Nursing Home.

Services were scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, 10 Sep, in Bright-Holland Funeral Home Chapel with Dwight Chaney officiating. Burial was to be in Hopewell Cemetery.

Mrs. Wisely was born 8 Aug 1911, in Sumner, a daughter of Max and Georgia Miller Dicken. She married [Daniel] Wallace Wisely on 24 Jun 1939, in Emberson. He died 22 Mar 1989.

She graduated from Texas Women's University and had taught school and was a watercolor artist. She was a member of the Art Study Club and various reading groups.

Surviving are one son, Dan Wisely of Powderly; two daughters, Dell Loftin of Powderly and Jane Wisely of Arlington, Va.; two brothers, Rex Dicken of Powderly and Morris Dicken of Sumner; two sisters, Eva Suttle of Paris and Martha Wilson of Sumner; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.'
