Graveside services for Mr. G. Westmoreland, 86, are Friday at 3 p.m. in the Athens City Cemetery with Dr. James E. Harris, minister of the Athens First Methodist Church, officiating. McConnell Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Westmoreland, whose address was on Beaty Street, died Wednesday at 3:55 a.m. in the Athens-Limestone Hospital.
Mr. Westmoreland was a member of one of the oldest families in Limestone County.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Louise Westmoreland, Athens; two daughters, Mrs. Robert W. Owens, Little Rock, Ark., and Mrs. Edward R. Smith, Jacksonville, Fla.; one son, Frank G. Westmoreland Jr., Athens; and seven grandchildren.
