- Garth Orson Bagley, 71, returned to his heavenly home Dec. 27, 2001. He passed away due to complica-tions from surgery in Provo, Utah.

He was born March 12, 1930 in Koosharem, UT, to Orson and Myrtle Bagley. Garth married Evelyn Brown, the love of his life and eternal com-panion in the Manti Utah LDS Temple on May 1, 1953. He was an active member of the Koosharem Utah LDS Ward where he served twice as Bishop. He taught school for 32 years and influenced the lives of thousands.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; and 10 children, David (Jennifer) Bagley, SLC, Gary (Julie) Bagley, Orem, Mark Bagley, SLC, Scott (Melissa) Bagley, Koosharem, Camille King, Circleville, Greg (Marja) Bagley, Logan, Stephanie (Eric) Pedersen, St. George, Michelle (Lance) Black, Mapleton, Dr. Michael Bagley, Detroit, MI, and Lori (Marv) John, Bountiful. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren and three sisters, Beth (Proc) Bohman, Louise Johansen, and LaVerne Sorensen.

Funeral services will be Monday, Dec. 31, 2001 at 1 p.m. at the Koosharem Utah LDS Ward Chapel where friends may attend a viewing from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., prior to the services. A viewing will be held at Magleby Mortuary in Richfield, UT, Sunday, Dec. 30, 2001, from 6-8 p.m.
