J. C. Shaw Passes Thursday Afternoon
J. C. Shaw, 73, of 1405 South Gallatin, passed away at a local hospital late Thursday afternoon after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Shaw, a member of Grace Methodist church, is survived by one son, C. E. Shaw, two daughters, Mrs. A. L. Russell, and Miss Juanita Shaw, all of Jackson, and one sister, Mrs. Tillie Shaw, Chicago.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a. m. Saturday from the chapel of Baldwin funeral home with the Reverend Roy Lane, pastor of the Grace Methodist church, officiating. Interment will be in the Knights of Pythias cemetery, Newton.
