Mrs. Dishmon was born March 1, 1927.
Mrs. Dishmon is survived by seven sons, Richard Dishmon Russell Dishmon and wife Debbie and Ronnie Dishmon and wife Gail all of Jamestown, John Dishmon and wife Patricia of Indiana, Roger Dishmon and wife Cindy of Germany, Ryan Dishmon and wife Sandy of Kentucky and Randy Dishmon and wife Teresa of Allardt; six daughters, Diana Beaty, Deborah Bertram and companion Danny, Doris Harris and husband Gary, Donna Sue Terry, Ann Beaty and Michelle Lowe all of Jamestown; special daughter, Bettye Jo Wright; eight sisters, Emogene Sharp, Collene Eller, Norine Davidson, Joyce Melvin, Linda Warner, Barbara ?Walker, Brenda Kilgore and Nancy Carter; five brothers, Willard, Joe, Melvin and Wayne Davidson and Jimmy Owens; sister-in-law, JoAnn Duggan; brother-in-law, Arnold Dishmon; thirty-four grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Dishmon was preceded in death by husband, Odell Dishmon; parents, Charlie and Lona Crouch Davidson; step-mother, Rachel Adeline Davidson; two brothers, Kyle and Leonard Davidson; daughter-in-law, Treva Dishmon; sons-in-law, James Bertram, Harold Beaty and Wayne Terry; and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services were held Sunday, November 23, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Mundy Funeral Home with Bro. Lynn Seagraves and Bro. Johnny Smith officiating. Burial followed in the Sharp Place Cemetery. Pallbearers included Tim Seagraves, Ronnie Seagraves, Brian Bertram, James Harris,Noble Conatser and Warren Duggan.
