Grover C., Byles, 61, of Robeline, died on Sunday, Jan. 29, at 5:15 a.m., following a short illness.
Survivors include two sons, Thurman Douglas Byles, and ? Don Byles, both of Shreveport; four brothers. Joe Ross Byles of Many, W. G. Byles, and Jim Byles, both of Robeline, and Dr. T. B. Byles of Lake Charles; three sisters, Mrs. Marie Chamberlain, and Mrs. Willa Dee Doane, both of Shreveport, and Mrs. Ella Johnston of Marthaville; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in the Warren Meadows Funeral Chapel on Monday, Jan. 30, at 2 p.m. The Rev. H. E. Crenweldge officiated. Burial was in the Central Cemetery.
Pallbearers were C. C. Chamberlain, Charles Cantrell, John Byles, Mark Chamberlain, Richard Byles, and Thomas Hamp Byles.
