Pete worked for the Santa Fe Railroad and made his home in Bristol Colorado. His pride & joy was gathering the neighborhood children and taking them swimming in Holly, Colorado on a hot summer day. Pete was a very caring man who worked with troubled teens and taught them a trade of their choice as in welding, mechanic etc. Pete & his wife Tillie had 5 children, and with the love in their hearts they opened their hearts and home to over 25 foster children.
