Greenville "Deanie" Beasley Carlisle-Chapman was born in Georgetown, Mississippi on April 29, 1913, and died at St. Clare Manor in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Sunday, November 23, 2008.
She is preceeded in death by her husband, John Chapman; mother and father, Lily and Robert Beasley; brother, Ray; and sisters, Mae, Adean, Regina, and Inez.
She is survived by brothers, and sister. She is the mother of three children, grandmother of five and seven step-grandchildren as well as 17 great-grandchildren.
Deanie spent most of her life in Jackson, Mississippi where she exhibited a zest for life and developed many special friendships. She lived in Baton Rouge for the last seven years.
Visitation will be at Parkway Baptist Church, 802 North Frontage, Clinton, Mississippi on Friday, November 28, 2008, from 12-2 pm services will be at 2 pm at the church and burial to follow at Lakewood Memorial Park Cemetery in Jackson, Mississippi.
Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home Clinton is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Foundation.
