Gracie Dodson, age 89 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Sunday, November 23, 2008 at her home. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri with burial in the Maplewood Cemetery, Brownington, Missouri. Family will receive friends 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Family suggests memorials to Crossroads Hospice and may be left at the funeral home. Gracie was born in Marshall County, Alabama. She moved to Missouri in l939 where she met her future husband, J. T. Dodson. She worked in the lab at Clearfield Cheese Company for 25 years and cared for her ill husband for many years until his death in l990. She was a member of the Brownington Baptist Church, Brownington, Missouri.

Among survivors are a niece, Nancy Rinne of Higginsiville, Missouri as well as a number of other nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
