William Murphy "Bill" Everett, 77, of Rives died May 13, 2005, at his home.
Services were 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Cryer Funeral Home in Obion, with Royce Stewart officiating. Burial followed in Cobb's Chapel Cemetery near Hornbeak.
Pallbearers were Ronald Hill, Jackie Spence, Charlie Priest, Frankie Armstrong, Billy Barton and Daniel Webster.
He was born in Obion County Aug. 13, 1927, son of the late Ben and Daisy Everett. He was a member of Berea Church of Christ and was a farmer.
Survivors include his sister, Ola B. Sanford of Union City; and his brother, Lexie Everett of Plymouth, Mich.
