Buried beside her husband, Augustus J. Cople (1864-1929). "Cate" lived her entire life in Brooklyn, mainly Bay Ridge, where she raised her 8 children: Julia, Mary, Joseph H, William J, John, Rose, Raymond, and Madeline. She suffered declining health after fracturing a hip, and passed away at The Norwegian Hospital in Brooklyn just 2 months before her 90th birthday.
