Virginia M. Diehl, of Riddlesburg, died Sept. 3, 1983 in the Mercy Hospital in Altoona. She was born Feb. 28, 1914 in Elkton, Va., the daughter of Harvey and Hettie (Eppard) Stanley. She was united in marriage to Roy Diehl on Sept. 15, 1934 in Hagerstown Md. Surviving with her husband are the following children: Mrs. Dorothy Martin and Mrs. Mary Jane Gracey, both of Six Mile Run; Mrs. Donna Steach of Northfield, Ohio; Mrs. Joanne Jenkins of Saxton; and Glenn Diehl and Mrs. Connie Monty, both of Riddlesburg. Also surviving are two brothers and two sisters all of Hancock, Md.: Guy Stanley, William Stanley, Nellie Bennett and Mary Smith. She was employed by Martinsburg Shoe for a number of years.
