Edna Adell was the third child and second daughter to be born to Catherine Lenora Cherry White and Larkin Wilburn White. A brother, Luther Monroe, a younger sister, Betty Lenora and a stillborn baby girl preceded her in death. She was also a sister to Lena Almira, Rosa Belle, Johnie Floyd, Addie Lou and Bessie Morris White. She died from pneumonia and would have been ten years old on her next birthday.
