A son of Theophilus and Janet (Rankin) Figard. He was united in marriage to Alice Julia Johnson in 1905, at Altoona. She preceded him in death January 17, 1960.
He was survived by the following children: Mrs. Albert (Mona) Lowe, Los Angeles, Calif.; Sharon T. Figard and Mrs. William (Louise) Lynn, both of Saxton; Mrs. Drexel (Alice) Black, Huntingdon; Willard C. Figard, Washington, D.C. and Nancy E. Figard, at home; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The deceased was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was last employed with the Penelec Company in Saxton, retiring in 1948.
