Janet F. Mitchell, 42, of San Bernardino, died Friday in Loma Linda. A native of Saxton, Pa, Mrs. Mitchell had lived in San Bernardino one year and in California nine years.
A real estate saleswoman, her last employment was with her husband's firms, the J. A. T. Investment Co., in Wrightwood. She was a Protestant.
Survivors include the husband James L. of San Bernardino; two daughters, Judy E. Mitchell of San Bernardino and Mrs. Janet Thomas of Sunnymead; two brothers, Sharon Figard of Saxton and Willard Figard of Washington D. C. ; four sisters, Mona Lowe of San Bernardino, Louise Lynn and Miss Nancy Figard, both of Saxton, and Alice Black of Huntington Pa and her father James Calvin Figard of Saxton.
Services at Mark B. Shaw Chapel. Burial will be in Montecito Memorial Park.
Her first husband was Alexander Cortner who died in 1976
The family has suggested that friends, who so desire, may make contributions to the Arthritis Foundation in lieu of flowers.
