Crumbaker: At the residence of her son-in-law Frederick Bainter, in Monroe Township on the 15th inst, Mrs. Katherine Crumbaker, widow of the late John Crumbaker in the eighty-seventh year of her age. She emigrated to this county from Loudon County, Virginia in 1824. Many years a consistent member of the Lutheran Church and always a meek and humble follower of her Heavenly Master. It would be but faint praise to say she had no enemies, but many friends.
Our mother rest in peace.
