Son of Talcott F. Buck of New York and Margaret Mandeville Buck of Ohio.
Husband of Mary Elizabeth "Mamie" Buck.

Daniel M. Buck was a Jeweler.

Obit

After a long illness, D. M. Buck Sr. passed away at his home in Clifton on December 25th, at the age of 85.

He was born in Newark, Wayne county, New York. He is survived by three children: Loris Buck, Maggie E. Blanton, Mineral Wells, Texas; D. M. Buck Jr., Clifton; a sister, Mrs. Geo. S. Tibbetts, Willimatic, Conn., and a nephew, Walter Buck, Junction, and other relatives.

Mr. Buck had lived in Clifton for more than thirty years, during which time he worked at his profession as jeweler and watch repairer. He was one of those good-natured, unassuming men who attended to his own business and let everybody else's alone, and was loved by everyone who knew him. His passing is mourned by his loved ones and a host of friends.

He was made a member of the Baptist Church when Rev. Kidd was here about 18 years ago.

Funeral services were conducted by the local Baptist pastor, Rev. G. B. Kendall, assisted by Rev. J. P. Gilliam in the First Baptist Church, with interment in the Clifton cemetery.

The Record joins the many friends in extending sympathy to the bereaved family.

Published in The Record, Clifton, Texas.
