Ruth D. Meadows is a daughter of James Meadows and Caroline Bryant of Pulaski County, Georgia. The 1900 census lists her as Dollie R. born in October 1893. She is named is Ruth D., 17, in the household of her parents in 1910 in Pulaski County.

Ruth married Elijha Leroy Daniell, Jr. about 1916. She is again "Dollie R." age 27, in the 1920 census.

By 1930, Elijah and Ruth had six children: Elijah, Jr., Reba D., Harry A., Cecil, Wilmer, and Sarah.

Ruth Meadows and Elijha Daniell are named on their son Wilmer's Texas Death Certificate.

Elijha died in 1937. Ruth outlived him by 41 years.

The Social Security Death Index lists her last residence as Elgin, Santa Cruz County, Arizona.
