Felonise Richard passed away on January 12, 2013 at the age of 95.
A Mass of Christian of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday January 15, 2013 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Time is pending. Father David Hebert will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery in Basile.

Felonise is survived by one daughter, Beverly Lafleur and husband Harry of Eunice; one son, Leonard Greg Richard of Lake Charles; three sisters, Mattie Ashford of Kinder; Rena Lafleur and Mary Ann Marshall of Wolf City, TX; fifteen grandchildren and thirty-five great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Richard; her parents, Remie and Attie Marie Young Sonnier; two daughters, Parella Bellon and Brenda Richard; two sons, Harold and Raphael Richard; four brothers, Willie, Mayous, Julius, and Ozime Sonnier; two sisters, Wedna Vidrine and Esse Mae Johnson.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Monday January 14, 2013 from 9 AM to 9 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. A Rosary will be prayed by Deacon Robbie Leger at 6 PM on Monday. The funeral home will reopen at 8 AM until service. Quirk & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
