Mrs. Eldridge Dead.

Mrs. Bettie B. Eldridge died at the Mackey Hotel last Tuesday at 5 o'clock, after a lingering illness of several weeks. Mrs. Eldridge was the last of the family of Uncle Benton Smith, as she lived with him up to the time of his death a few days ago. Mrs. Smith was the first of the three to die, last June, then followed the death of Uncle Benton and Tuesday Mrs. Eldridge.

Mrs. Eldridge was a good woman and had reached the ripe old age of 72 years, and was ready for the summons. She was a member of the Methodist church, and the funeral services were conducted by Rev. C. C. Hightower, her Pastor, at the Clifton cemetery at 2:30 p.m. in the presence of friends and relatives.
