"A telephone message was received this morning from Austin stating that Mr. A. H. Eggleston, had died near that place this morning at 6 o'clock from typhoid pneumonia. Mr. Eggleston married Miss Susie Parke, of this place about two years ago. He moved to that place about a month ago. It is thought his remains will be brought to Gonzales for burial and may arrive this evening. He was a member of the Gonzales Camp of Woodmen. He leaves a wife and one child.

Later-The Inquirer is informed that the body of Mr. Eggleston will arrive Friday at noon from Austin and will be interred in the Public Cemetery under the auspices of the order of Woodmen.

All members are requested to assemble at the hall tonight to make preparations for the burial of our deceased sovereign, A. H. Eggleston, who died at Austin this morning at 6 o'clock and will arrive tomorrow at 12:01 p.m., on the Aransas Pass. By order of C.C.
