Aaron was born in Northampton County, near Easton, Pa. on January 11, 1824 the eldest son of John. In 1849 he married Elizabeth Breidinger in Northampton County, Pa. They had 7 children: John Freeman, Sally Ann, Jacob Richard, Peter, Hettie E., Sarah Ann, and Charles Aaron.

Aaron is listed as a laborer, married within the year, and living with his father John in the 1850 census.

Aaron apparently acquired land in nearby Palmer Township and became a farmer because on February 11, 1876, he purchased for $4515.94, an additional 30 acres and 17 perches adjacent to his property from William Snyder and wife Margaret. It's interesting to note that in the deed resulting from this transaction, that Yeisley is spelled "Yeisly" and also "Yeisley".
