JOSEPH A. ALICEA Age 70, of San Leandro, died in Palo Alto on December 26, 2004. He was born in San Jose on August 14, 1934. he was a resident of the Bay Area for most of his life. He was an avid fisherman who loved the outdoors and mountains. He enjoyed a variety of sports, especially baseball and was an avid Giants fan. He was a retired night club owner. Joe is survived by his loving daughter, Tambra Cozad and her husband, Duane of Valley Springs; lifetime companion, Joy Jensen of Fremont; a brother, Richard Alicea and his wife, Pat of Pollock Pines; a sister, Linda Stephens and her husband, Walt of Fresno and a nephew, Loren LaBeau of Fresno. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Cecelia Alicea and his beloved son, Gregory. Joe will be dearly missed by all who knew him. A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 30, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at Mc Crory's Funeral Home in Pine Grove, followed by interment at Amador Memorial Cemetery in Pioneer. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 30, 2004 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Mc Crory's Funeral Home in Pine Grove. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 516 Sutter St., Jackson, CA 95642 or the Hospice of your choice. Mc Crory's of Pine Grove in charge of arrangements, 209-296-4700.
