Angeline L. "Gee" BLAZEVICH, 83, of Mount Union, died at 5:15 a.m. Friday, Nov. 22, 2002, at Morans Inc. Nursing Home, Bellwood.
Born Nov. 16, 1919, in Kistler, she was the daughter of Felice and Teresina (Gragnano) Ambrosino, both deceased.
She was united in marriage to Anthony Blazevich Sept. 13, 1941, at St. Catherine's Roman Catholic Church, Mount Union.
She was preceded in death by her husband Aug. 27, 1975.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Teresa) Norris of Mount Union, R.R. 3, and one granddaughter. A sister, Antoinette Griffith of Mount Union, survives.
She was preceded in death by the following brothers and sisters; Mary Heidel, Pellerino "Wedio" Ambrosino, Anella "Nellie" Imperioli, Rose Diferdinando, Concetta Ambrosino, Frank Ambrosino and Carmen Ambrosino.
Mrs. Blazevich was a member of St. Catherine's Roman Catholic Church, Mount Union. She was also a member of the Mount Union chapters of Catholic Daughters of America and Sons of Italy Lodge. She attended Mount Union area schools and was employed by L. Greif Bros. Manufacturing Company, Mount Union, for 30 years. She later retired on disability from U.S Sports in Huntingdon. She loved visiting her family and friends and enjoyed cooking and caring for her flowers.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, at St. Catherine's Roman Catholic Church with the Revs. Dennis Boggs and Elwood Pigurelle officiating.
Interment will be made in St. Catherine's Catholic Cemetery, Shirleysburg.
