Mary (Ambrosino) HEIDEL, 74, a resident of Meadowview Manor, McVeytown, R.D. 1, and formerly of Mount Union, R.D. 1, died at 5:54 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2001, at the Lewistown Hospital.

Born March 24, 1926, in Mount Union, she was the daughter of the late Felice and Theresa (Gragnano) Ambrosino.

She was united in marriage to Jack E. Heidel Dec. 19, 1947, at St. Catherine's Catholic Church, Mount Union. Mr. Heidel died May 14, 1997.

She is survived by a son, Frank E. Heidel of Alabaster, Ala. There are two grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Antoinette Griffith and Angeline Blazevich, both of Mount Union.

She was preceded in death by the following brothers and sisters: Pellerino "Wedio" Ambrosino, Anella "Nellie" Imperioli, Rose DiFerdinando, Concetta Ambrosino, Frank Ambrosino and Carmen Ambrosino.

Mrs. Heidel was a member of St. Catherine's Roman Catholic Church, Mount Union, and a member of the Catholic Daughters, Mount Union Chapter. She was a graduate of, Mount Union High School. She was employed for over 20 years at L. Greif Brothers Manufacturing, Mount Union.

A funeral Mass will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, at St. Catherine's Roman Catholic Church, Mount Union, with Father Elwood Figurelle officiating.

Committal will be made in Haven Rest Memorial Park, Shirleysburg, R.R. 1.
