Funeral services for Adelbert
Cottet, 67, former Syracusan who
died Tuesday at his home in Cleveland,
Oswego County, where he had
been a resident about 25 years, will
be conducted Saturday. Rites will
take place at 1:30 P.m. at the home
and a half hour later in St. James
Episcopal Church, Cleveland. The
Rev. George H. MacNish, rector,
will officiate and burial will be in
Cicero Center Cemetery. Mr.Cottet,
a retired farmer, had formerly
been a stonemason and carpenter.
He was born at Gayville, one of
10 children of the late Mr. and
Mrs. Francis Cottet. Surviving are
his wife, Mrs. Rose Cottet of Cleveland;
a daughter, Mrs. Howard Diffin
of Cicero; four sons, DeAlton,
Gilbert and Raymond Cottet; all of
Syracuse, and Lawrence Cottet of
Cleveland; three brothers, Frank
of Oneida and Arthur and Albert
Cottet, of Cleveland; six grandchildren,
and several nieces and nephews.
