WILLIAM WOODSON "WILLIE" CLARK

William Woodson Clark was born December 30, 1848 in Kentucky to Andrew Clark and Malinda "Linny" Franklin Clark.

He married Nancy Elizabeth Franklin December 8, 1869 in Hopkins County, Kentucky. They lived in Kentucky, Missouri, Texas, and Oklahoma. They had ten children, Samuel Robert Clark, Florenda Jane Clark, Martha E. "Fannie" Clark Dollar, Leander Martin Clark, Victoria Clark McAlpine, Arthur Cleveland Clark, Amanda "Mandy" Bee Clark Bragg, Andrew George Clark, Jesse Louis Clark, and Roy Gree Clark.

His wife, Nancy Franklin Clark, preceded him in death July 8, 1907. She is buried in the Sand Creek Cemetery, Sand Creek (now Cromwell), Seminole County, Oklahoma.

He died at the home of his son, Roy Gree Clark on May 6, 1927 northwest of Alfalfa, Caddo County, Oklahoma and is buried in the Alfalfa Cemetery, Alfalfa, Caddo County, Oklahoma.
