HAYES Iris P., 65, of Midwest City, passed away Tues., Jan. 20, 1998.
Born Dec. 27, 1932 in Lamar, OK to Jesse and Florence (Cantrell) Powell. She married Perry R. Hayes on Dec. 18, 1950 in Van Buren, AR.
Iris was a born again Christian and a member of the Eastern Star of Del City. She was active in 4-H and loved to play basketball as a teenager.
Survived bv husband, Perry of the home; two daughters, Perralyne McKee & her husband, Bill Perry, Del City, Paula Sanders & her husband, Alvis, Midwest City; 4 grandchildren, Dusten McKee & wife, Debbie, Jay, Brian & John Sanders; 2 great-grandchildren, Nathan Dowler & Daniel McKee; sister, Molinda Cox, Midwest City; 2 brothers, James Powell & wife, Lois, Clifford Powell & wife, Tonya, OKC, and numerous nieces & nephews.
Services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, Jan. 23, Bill Eisenhour S.E. Chapel followed bv a 2:00 p.m., graveside service at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery.
