Albert I. Flax, age 75, died Saturday, Nov. 8, at his farm home near Arnold. He was born Feb. 1, 1922 at Arnold, to Joe and Theresa Weber Flax.

He was a farmer and stockman and lifetime resident of the Arnold community.

On May 12, 1947 he married Frances Augustine at Ellis.

He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus, both of Ransom.

Survivors include his wife, of the home at Arnold; sons, Harold, Wright; David, Osage City; Vernon, Arnold; Bernard, Wilmington, NC; daughters: Patricia Kail, Sublette; Bernice Barber, Lindsborg; brothers; Joseph I. Flax, Ransom; Paul Flax, Ellis; sisters: Martha Peschka, Salina; sister Doris Marie, Ellis; Catherine Flax, Chicago, IL; 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Theresa.

Parish vigil was Sunday, Nov. 9, at St. Aloysius Church, Ransom. Funeral mass was Monday, Nov. 10, afternoon at the church officiated by Fr. Marvin Reif, pastor of the church. Interment in the St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery, Ransom, Kansas.

Memorials may be given to the Golden Belt Hospice in care of the funeral home.
