HAROLD ARONES Age 86, of Boynton Beach, Florida, formerly of Richmond, Virginia, passed away on December 30, 2004. Mr. Arones was a Florida resident for 15 years. Born in Utica, NY, Mr. Arones was a Lt. Colonel in the U.S. Air Force during WW II. He was a recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Air Medal, and a Presidential Citation. He also served in the Royal Canadian Air Force. Mr. Arones was one of the original owners and co-founder of Regal Home Improvement Company in Richmond, Virginia, which originated in 1949. Beloved husband of June Kline Arones. Loving father of Lisa Arones, Deborah (Alan) Hood, and Diane (William Jr.) Thrall. Devoted brother of Irving (Shirley) Arones, Annette (Sumner) Feldman, the late Morton Arones and the late Gerald Arones. A cryptside service is scheduled for Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at 11:30 A.M. at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens, Boynton Beach, Fl. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice by the Sea, 1531 West Palmetto Park Road, Boca Raton, Fl. 33486-3395 and the American Cancer Society, 3350 NW Boca Raton Boulevard, Suite A-34, Boca Raton, Fl. 33431.
