She was the widow of Thomas Nelson and later on the 2nd wife of Carter Berkeley. She married Thomas Nelson in 1795. She married Dr. Carter Nelson Berkeley on 11/8/1810. Francis, was the 3rd daughter and 7th child of Governor John Page and Francis (called Fannie) Burwell, his wife. (Ref: Genealogy of the Page Family of Virginia)

1. Thomasia Nelson, born May 6, 1796; married 1821, Bishop William Meade, of the Episcopal Church, Va., and was his second fie. She was buried in The Fork Church graveyard, Hanover Co., Va., and died Jul 26, 1836.
2. Fannie Nelson, born about 1798; died unmarried.
3. Thomas Nelson, born abour 1800; died unmarried.
4. Rev. George Washington Nelson, born about 1805; married, about 1835, Jane Crease, of Alexandria, Va., and was her first husband.
